Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, and a salted password hash. Never your plaintext password.
  • Billing data — invoices, payment status, and the mobile number supplied for hosted checkout. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never touch our servers.
  • License telemetry — activation events, heartbeat timestamps, app version, and a one-way SHA-256 hash of device hardware identifiers. We never store raw hardware identifiers.
  • Security data — sign-in history including IP address and approximate location, used for suspicious-login detection.
  • Advertising-measurement data — only if you accept advertising cookies. See section 4.

2. What we do not collect

Public-business records you collect stay on your machine. The desktop application does not upload locally collected records, search queries, or exports to our servers.

3. How we use data

  • Operating licensing: activation, verification, device limits, and updates.
  • Fraud and abuse prevention, including detection of license sharing.
  • Transactional email for account verification and password reset.
  • In-portal billing notifications and support-ticket messages.

4. Cookies and advertising measurement

Strictly necessary cookies are always set: your sign-in session, an anonymous funnel-session identifier, and the security challenge used to block automated abuse. They carry no advertising identifiers and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in and checkout.

Advertising-measurement cookies are optional and off until you accept them. If you accept, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure which advertisements lead to purchases. This places Meta's _fbp and_fbc cookies in your browser and, for the events listed below, sends Meta:

  • the event itself — page view, product view, contact enquiry, registration, checkout started, payment details entered, and completed purchase — with the order value, currency, plan, and transaction reference where relevant;
  • your email address and mobile number as one-way SHA-256 hashes, never in readable form;
  • your IP address, browser user-agent string, and the two Meta cookies above, which Meta uses to match the event to an advertisement.

Meta acts as an independent controller for this data under its own terms. We do not send Meta your password, licence keys, invoices, or any business records collected with the desktop application. Purchase events are sent only after our payment provider confirms the payment.

If you reject, or simply never accept, no Meta script is loaded, no Meta cookie is stored, and no event is sent — including for a completed purchase. You can change your decision at any time here:

Advertising measurement

Currently on — we use Meta (Facebook) cookies to measure which ads lead to purchases. Turn it off here at any time.

5. Retention

Account and license records are kept while your account is active. Automated cleanup removes expired or revoked sessions after 7 days, expired verification tokens after 7 days, expired or revoked API-token records after 30 days, license activations and sign-in history after 180 days, and device and audit history after 365 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal recordkeeping duties.

6. Sharing

We share data only with processors required to run the Service (payment provider, email delivery, hosting, database), and — if and only if you accepted advertising cookies — the measurement data described in section 4 with Meta Platforms. We do not sell personal data.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

8. Contact and complaints

For privacy requests or complaints, use Contact Us and include your account email and request. See Grievance Redressal for response process.
