End User License Agreement
Last updated: July 20, 2026. This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Properfame and governs your installation and use of the LeadFOMO desktop software (the “Software”). By installing, activating, or using the Software you agree to this EULA, the Terms and Conditions, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
1. License grant
Subject to payment and continued compliance with these terms, Properfame grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on up to the number of devices permitted by your plan, for the access period of your plan, and only for the lawful research purposes described in the Acceptable Use Policy. The Software is licensed, not sold.
2. Activation, license keys, and devices
- The Software requires activation with a license key issued to your account and verifies license status over the internet.
- Licenses are bound to a device fingerprint. Only a one-way digest of hardware identifiers is sent to the licensing service; raw identifiers stay on your device.
- You can view and release device bindings from your dashboard, within your plan’s device limit.
- You may not share, publish, sell, rent, or sublicense license keys, or use one purchase across more devices or people than the plan allows.
- Eligible plans include an offline grace period during which a previously verified license keeps working without a connection; when it lapses, the Software must verify again.
3. Restrictions
You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:
- copy the Software except as reasonably needed to install and run it, or as backup;
- modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent a law expressly permits it despite this restriction;
- bypass, disable, or tamper with license verification, integrity checks, or the update mechanism;
- use the Software in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law; or
- use the Software to build a competing product or service.
4. Updates
The Software checks for signed updates and can download and install published builds. Updates may add, change, or remove functionality and may be required to keep the Software compatible with the licensing service or supported sources. Old builds may stop being supported.
5. Your data
Records that you collect with the Software are stored in a local database and export files on your own computer. Properfame does not receive or store your research records. You are the controller of, and solely responsible for, that data — including its security, lawfulness, retention, and any further use. See the Data Processing and Privacy Notice for details of what the Software and portal do process.
6. Third-party services and sources
The Software works with third-party components (such as a browser runtime) and researches third-party sources that Properfame does not control. Source availability, layout, and policies can change at any time and can reduce or interrupt functionality. Properfame does not promise the continued availability of any specific source or field and is not affiliated with the sources you research.
7. Intellectual property
The Software, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the property of Properfame and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. This EULA gives you no ownership rights. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
8. Term and termination
This EULA is effective until your access period ends or the EULA is terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach it, including breaches of the Acceptable Use Policy or license-sharing. Upon termination you must stop using the Software and uninstall it. Records already exported to your own files remain yours, subject to your legal responsibilities for them.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of collected records, or uninterrupted availability of sources. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Properfame is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from the Software. Properfame’s aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in this EULA limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Properfame against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Software or your violation of this EULA or the Acceptable Use Policy, including claims relating to data you collected, processed, or used, or communications you sent.
12. General
If any provision of this EULA is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This EULA is governed by the law stated in the Terms and Conditions. Questions about this EULA can be raised through the contact page.
